How they wear. Buildable. One pass is a soft wash you can wear to the office; two or three passes give you the liquid-metal look. They blend out with a finger, which matters when you're doing your makeup at 7am with one eye already done and the other still bare.

Q: Do I need a brush?
A: No. A fingertip works best for the metallic finish — it presses the pigment down instead of sweeping it around. Use a small brush only if you want a softer, diffused edge.
Q: Will these crease on hooded eyes?
A: Multichromes are pressed pigments, so they're drier than cream shadows and crease far less. If you have very oily lids, a thin layer of primer underneath will hold them all day.
Q: Is the payoff really “one swipe”?
A: For the deeper shades, yes. The palest shades are sheerer by design — they're meant to layer over other colors.
